First of all, I would like to introduce my readers to a new category on technodorm called “Games”. I will be posting about new releases and gaming related posts there. My first post is regarding GTA 4 System Requirements.  It was released on April 29th, 2008 for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 while it was released on 2nd December for PC. GTA 4 is the ninth title in the grand theft auto series.

Grand Theft Auto 4 has received many awards since its release and has gained immense popularity. It sold more then 3.6 million copies worldwide on the first day of its release while grossing more then $500 Million in its first week.

GTA 4 Minimum System Requirements

• Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz or equivalent AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz
• Memory/RAM: 1GB for XP and 1.5GB for Vista
• Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900 or 256MB ATI X1900
• Hard Disk Space: 16GB free
• Operating System: Windows XP SP3 or Windows Vista SP1

GTA 4 Recommended System Requirements

• Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz or equivalent AMD Phenom X3 2.1GHz
• Memory/RAM: 2.5 GB for XP or Vista
• Video Card: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 or 512MB ATI 3870
• Hard Disk Space: 18GB free
• Operating System: Windows XP SP3 or Windows Vista SP1

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth is a PC real-time strategy game developed by EA Los Angeles. It is based on Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, in turn based on J. R. R. Tolkien's original novel. The game uses short video clips from the movies and a number of the voice actors, including the hobbits and wizards. It uses the SAGE engine from Command & Conquer: Generals and was released on December 6, 2004. The sequel, The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II, was released on March 2, 2006.
The online servers of The Battle for Middle Earth were permanently closed on December 31, 2010 by EA Games, due to the expiration of The Lord of the Rings gaming rights."^[3] The game is no longer in sale and not available for online play, however it is still possible to use multiplay function of the game via Virtual private network programs.
